Ken Cooper is co-founder of ej4 LLC, a St. Louis based e-learning and communications firm. He has been consulting with and training brewery personnel, beer wholesalers, and retailers for over 30 years. Ken’s beer industry projects have included:

  • Wrote and delivered training for AB Beer Marketing Management Development. Courses included: Advanced Management, Middle Management Skills, Wholesaler Leadership, National Accounts Sales Skills, Negotiating Skills, Presentation Skills, Customer Service, Media Spokesperson Training, Introduction to Commitment to Excellence, Continuous Process Improvement, Facilitation Skills, Field Automation, and Presenting to Executives.
  • Worked as lead consultant and course designer for wholesaler IMPACT Selling training and its CTE Fas-Trac implementation process for 225 wholesalers.
  • Conducted over 1,000 wholesaler leader surveys and 225 wholesaler employee satisfaction surveys. Conducted Bud AllPro promotional program wholesaler satisfaction survey.
  • Designed and produced the “BeerTender’s Guide” CBT distributed to 5,000 on-premise retailers.
  • Designed and produced “InterCept 101: Basic Skills” wholesaler shelfset software training CBT series.
  • Wrote “Alcohol Awareness & Responsibility” course for the National Interfraternity Foundation.
  • Provided executive coaching, training, and meeting facilitation for brewery departments such as: wholesaler training, wholesaler consulting, wholesaler operations, national and regional sales, national accounts, military sales, space management, retailer satisfaction, brand teams, consumer awareness, contemporary marketing teams, corporate administration, agriculture, metal container, communications, IT, creative, entertainment, recycling, beverage group, snacks group, media group, dimensions of excellence, sales promotions, and customer service.
  • Designed and conducted a field personnel assessment and created a complete competency modeling and reporting system for 600 brewery sales personnel.
  • Taught on AB’s Wholesaler Integrated Learning satellite TV system. Courses included: How to Interpret your National Retail Monitor Survey and a twenty-part series on Continuous Process Improvement for Wholesalers.
  • Hosted periodic audio programs for AB’s monthly Up2Date series.

Ken has also provided consulting or training for consumer goods organizations such as: Anheuser-Busch, CalState Tavern Owners Association, Pepsi, Rich Food Products, National Grocers Association, Ace Hardware, JC Penney’s, Nestlé-Purina, and many others.
